1. Check all power and air supply to the automation equipment.
Power and air supply problems can often cause automation equipment to malfunction. For example, there is a problem with the power supply, including the fault of the entire workshop power supply, such as low power supply, burned out of the insurance, poor contact of the power plug, etc.; the air compressor is not turned on, the pneumatic triple or two-piece is not opened, and the restrictor is turned off. The detection of automation equipment should include the following aspects: the power supply, including the power supply of each equipment and the power supply of the workshop and the air pressure source required for the pneumatic device.
2. Check the sensor position of the automation device for an offset.
Due to the negligence of equipment maintenance personnel, there may be errors in the position of some sensors, such as not in place, sensor failure, sensitivity failure, etc. Always check the sensor's sensing position and sensitivity, and adjust the deviation in time. If the sensor is broken, replace it immediately. Many times, in addition, due to the vibration of the automation equipment, most of the sensors will be loose after a long period of use, so in the routine maintenance, always check whether the sensor is in the correct position and is firmly fixed.
3. Check relays, flow restrictors, pressure reducing valves of automation equipment
Like the magnetic inductive sensor, the relay can also be stuck in the long-term use, so that the electrical circuit cannot be guaranteed to be normal and needs to be replaced. In the air circuit system, the pressure regulating spring of the restrictor and the pressure reducing valve may also loosen or slide with the vibration of the device. These devices, like sensors, are components that require routine maintenance in automated equipment.
4. Check electrical, solenoid, and air circuit connections
If no problems are found in the above three steps, then all circuits are checked. Check if there is any open circuit in the circuit, especially if the wire in the wire slot is broken by the wire slot. Inspect the air tube for damaging creases or cracks. If the trachea has severe creases or cracks, replace it immediately.
5. Check the solenoid valve for reversing action. The solenoid valve is connected to the valve core by the electromagnet to make the cylinder reversing. When the electromagnet fails, the spool does not move, causing the cylinder to fail to move. If there is too much water in the gas circuit and there is a lot of dust, it will cause the valve core to get stuck and clog, which will cause the cylinder to be inoperable. 6. After ensuring the above steps are correct, the fault may appear in the controller of the automation equipment, but It can never be a procedural issue. First of all, don't be sure that the controller is destroyed. As long as there is no serious short circuit, the controller has short-circuit protection inside. The general short circuit will not burn the controller, room, etc.
